About Rahim

I have been fortunate and now it’s my responsibility to give back and serve.

My focus is simple: to keep Lilburn a place where families can afford to live, work, and build their futures.

Rahim Asani moved to Lilburn in 2004 for its affordable housing, strong schools, and economic opportunity. For over 20 years, he has proudly called this city home, building a life, supporting his family, and growing his business in Gwinnett County.

Upon immigrating to the United States, Rahim began working long hours at a gas station. Now a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and business owner, Rahim has worked hard to create stability and opportunity. Now he wants to make sure his community has that same chance.

Through his work and community involvement, Rahim has been deeply connected to his community. He volunteers regularly, supporting senior programs and providing scholarships, financial assistance, and resources for young adults working toward higher education and financial independence.

The question is, not only what have you achieved, the question is what have you helped others to achieve? That is the notion of social conscience. Rahim is running not for himself but because it’s time to give back and serve.

Having lived the challenges many families face, from rising costs to limited resources, Rahim is running for State House to expand opportunity, strengthen the local economy, and ensure District 108 remains a place where families can build stable and successful futures.
